Bhubaneswar, August 7: On the occasion of National Handloom Day, Odisha leaders paid tribute to the state’s rich handloom tradition and the craftsmanship of weavers who have preserved the legacy of traditional textiles through generations.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi highlighted that Odisha’s traditional handloom attire reflects the state’s art, culture and identity. He said the creations of skilled weavers are not merely garments but an integral part of Odisha’s glorious history and heritage.
