Nation honors PM Modi on 74th Birthday: Top leaders extend wishes

New Delhi, Sept 17: As Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrates his 74th birthday on Tuesday, President Droupadi Murmu, along with Union Ministers and Chief Ministers, extended their heartfelt wishes. President Murmu led the nation in conveying greetings to PM Modi on his special day and Prime Minister Modi to launch Odisha's ‘Subhadra Yojana’ on his 74th birthday

She wrote on X, “Warm congratulations and best wishes to Prime Minister Shri @narendramodiji on your birthday. Through your remarkable leadership and dedication, you have significantly enhanced the country's prosperity and stature.

"I wish that your innovative efforts with the spirit of nation first pave the way to make India a developed nation. I pray to God that you live long and always remain healthy and happy," the Rashtrapati Bhavan said in a post on X.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah extended birthday wishes to the Prime Minister, praising him for "bringing positive changes to the lives of the people through his tireless hard work, perseverance, and foresight." Shah expressed his hopes for the Prime Minister's health and longevity in a post on X.

Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh highlighted that "not only India but the entire world has witnessed and experienced his visionary and strong leadership." He commended Modi for leading the country with unwavering focus, readiness, and dedication.

Former Union Minister Smriti Irani also conveyed her heartfelt birthday wishes, acknowledging Prime Minister Narendra Modi's dedication to public welfare. She emphasized that his relentless commitment to serving the nation and his resolve to empower every segment of society serve as an inspiration. Irani prayed to Lord Shri Ram for Modi’s good health, long life, and continued strength to elevate the nation to new heights.
