Nabarangpur, Sept 25: In response to the heavy rainfall forecasted by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the Nabarangpur district administration has cancelled the leave of all government employees. This precautionary measure comes in light of a low-pressure area developing in the Bay of Bengal, which is expected to bring severe weather to the region.

Government employees in Nabarangpur have been instructed not to leave their headquarters until further notice. Any violation of this directive will be treated seriously, with strict action to be taken.

The low-pressure system is predicted to intensify into a depression by September 26, with the possibility of crossing over North Andhra Pradesh and South Odisha on September 27.
