Jajpur, Nov 26: Tension escalated at the Binjharpur Community Health Centre in Jajpur district after a minor boy reportedly died following the administration of incorrect injections.

According to reports, Satyanarayan, the son of Rama Mallick from Rautara village in the Binjharpur block, was brought to the health centre late Tuesday night after he began vomiting and experiencing severe discomfort.

The doctor on duty prescribed two injections, which were administered by the nursing staff. However, shortly after receiving the injections, the boy’s condition deteriorated rapidly. Despite the doctor’s efforts to save him, the child succumbed to his condition.

The grieving family members, accusing the doctor of medical negligence, staged a protest outside the health centre. They demanded accountability and a thorough investigation into the cause of the boy’s death. The incident has sparked outrage in the local community, with many calling for stricter oversight and action against medical malpractice.
