Cuttack, Feb 19: At least two bike riders lost their lives after the motorcycle they were riding hit a tree near Badamba Beliapal village in Cuttack district on Sunday.
The deceased have been identified as Muna Sahu and Rakesh Panda of Badamba Beliapal village. Sources said, the two bike riders were on their way to attend a friend’s reception under Kanpur police limits in the district. Meanwhile, the youth who was riding the bike lost control over the wheel and hit a tree near Rishipada Square.
Though the victims were rescued by locals and rushed to Kanpur Community Health Centre (CHC) but the doctors declared both ‘brought dead’.
