Sambalpur, Aug 21: A woman and her son allegedly committed suicide over a suspected family dispute in Ainthapali area of Odisha’s Sambalpur district.
The identities of the deceased persons are yet to be ascertained.

As per reports, the incident took place at Tangarpali village under Ainthapali police limits. The woman, in her 50s, and her son were found hanging from the ceiling of their house.
On getting the information, police rushed to the spot and brought the bodies down. Subsequently, they were sent for post-mortem.
Though the exact reason behind the extreme step of the mother-son duo is yet to be ascertained, it is suspected that a family dispute might be the reason.
Further investigation into the matter is underway and everything will be clear soon, said the police.
