Binika, Dec 28: The Binika Police on Sunday recovered a daily wager’s body that was buried under ground.

The body was recovered from near Joro in Gulapada Nala under the Binika Police limit.

The deceased has been identified as Prakash who halis from the Binika area and was missing a couple of days ago.

Acting on a missing entry lodged by Prakash’s family members, police launched an investigation to trace his whereabouts. Meanwhile, with reliable input from locals, police spotted the body dumped in a deep pit.

Police have cordoned off the area to find clues on the death. Meanwhile,the cops detained five youths who had reportedly accompanied Prakash in venturing out of home.

Further investigation is on while the dog squad & scientific team are examining the spot for substantial clues on the wager’s death.
