Bhubaneswar, June 8: In a significant step towards digitizing public services, the Revenue & Disaster Management Department will soon launch a dedicated mobile app to streamline the issuance of essential certificates such as caste, residence, and income.
Announcing the initiative on Sunday, Revenue & Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari said the mobile application will enable citizens, especially students, to apply for certificates from the comfort of their homes, eliminating the need to visit Sahaj Jan Seva Kendras.
"The new app will allow applicants to not only submit requests but also make online payments. Once processed, the certificates will be uploaded directly to the app for easy download and printing," the Minister said.
Pujari highlighted that this digital move is part of the department’s broader goal to improve service delivery and ensure quick, hassle-free access to vital documents for the public.
