​​​​​​​Baripada, Oct 28: The headless body of a youth was found lying on the railway tracks near Budhamara railway station under Bangriposi police limits in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district last evening.

The identity of the deceased youth, estimated to be around 25 years old, is yet to be ascertained.

As per reports, local residents were the first to spot the body on the railway tracks and promptly alerted the police. The deceased was discovered headless, prompting questions about the circumstances of his death.

It is still unclear whether the youth was killed in a train accident or murdered before being dumped on the tracks.

After receiving the information, Bangiriposi police arrived at the scene, recovered the body, and sent it for post-mortem.
