Cuttack, July 17: Police and ODRAF team on Wednesday fished out a youth’s body in Cuttack from the Mahanadi.
The deceased has been identified as Prashant Rout, a resident of the Chhatra Bazzar area in the Cuttack City.
Prashant had gone missing from last two days. Based on the clues from his bike, parked near the Zobra Maritime Museum by the Mohanadi he was suspected to be drowned in the water.
Later a search operation was initiated by the Police assisted by the ODRAF contingent who fished out Rout’s body today.
The body was seized and sent for postmortem by the Cuttack police.
