Keonjhar, Oct 19: In a brazen daylight robbery, armed miscreants allegedly looted Rs 5 lakh from a petrol pump at gunpoint in Nayakote area of Odisha’s Keonjhar district on Thursday.
The miscreants also fired few rounds of bullets in the air to terrorize the staff of the petrol pump and damaged CCTV cameras before fleeing from the scene.
As per reports, the incident has been reported from Phuljhar under Nayakote police limits in the district.
On getting the information, police rushed to the spot and took stock of the situation.
A probe has been launched into the matter and efforts are on to trace the culprits involved, said the police.
