Bhubaneswar, Jan 31: With a minor rejig among Senior IPS officers in Odisha on Wenesday, Dayal Gangwar has been transferred as ADGP Modernisation.
Gangwar is currently serving as ADGP, Railways & Costal Security.
Odisha Home Department issued a notification in this connection in the evening.
The notification read, 1998 batch officer Rajesh Kumar who is serving as DGP, Modernisation is transferred and posted as ADGP, Railways & Costal Security with Additional charge of Director of the State Forensic Laboratory (SFSL).
Similarly, DIG of Police Awinash Kumar who is a 2007 batch IPS officer is transferred and posted as the twin city (Bhubaneswar-Cuttack) Additional Commissioner of Police.
Brijesh Kumar Ray,a 2009 batch IPS officer who is currently working as Additional CP in Commissionerate of Police, Bhubaneswar-Cuttack is transferred and posted as DIG of Police, Intelligence and in-charge of Security Wing.
