Bhubaneswar, Jan 16: Yet in another whip for the volatile leaders, Odisha Biju Janata Dal (BJD) on Friday suspended the Chairperson & Vice-President of Jajpur Zilla Parishad, from the party.
BJD Supremo Naveen Patnaik suspended Jajpur Zilla Parishad President Nalini Prabha Jena whereas party’s Vice-President (Headquarters) Pratap Jena suspended Vice President of the Zilla Parishad Ganeswar Baral, for antiparty activities.
An office order signed by BJD President Naveen Patnaik read, Nalini Prabha Jena, President, Zilla Parishad, Jajpur District is hereby suspended for her involvement in antiparty activities.
Similarly, another release issued by the BJD state office signed by, Vice-President(Headquarters) read, Ganeswar Baral, Vice-President , Zilla Parishad, Jajpur District is hereby suspended from the BJD for his involvement in antiparty activities.
Worth mentioning, BJD chief Naveen Patnaik on Friday had suspended two BJD Legislators (MLA Patkura & MLA Champua) for their alleged involvement in antiparty activities.
