Bhubaneswar, July 19: As many as five IndiGo flights from Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar have been canceled owing to the large scale outage in Microsoft Services on Friday.
This was informed by the Director of Bhubaneswar airport, Prasanna Pradhan. The affected flights were scheduled to depart for Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi, and Kolkata.
In response to the outage, the airport had to revert to manual processes for issuing boarding passes, leading to delays of over an hour for other flights.
The sudden cancellations and delays caused a surge of frustrated passengers at the IndiGo counter, with many seeking information about their flights.
