2025 Hyundai Venue Launched in India, Price Starts at ₹7.90 Lakh

Hyundai Motor India has officially launched the all-new, second-generation 2025 Hyundai Venue, marking a significant update to its popular compact SUV. With an introductory ex-showroom price starting at ₹7.90 lakh, this new model replaces the outgoing version that has been on sale since 2019.

For the initial launch, Hyundai has announced pricing for three variants: the HX2 (₹7.90 lakh), HX4 (₹8.80 lakh), and HX5 (₹9.15 lakh). These prices are for the 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and are valid for deliveries until December 31, 2025. The pricing for the much-anticipated 2025 Venue N Line, as well as the turbo-petrol and diesel models, will be revealed at a later date.

What's New in the 2025 Venue?

This new-generation model is not just a facelift; it's a complete overhaul. The 2025 Venue is now bigger, standing 48mm taller and 30mm wider, with a 20mm longer wheelbase, promising better cabin space and road presence.

The exterior design is completely refreshed, featuring a bold dark chrome radiator grille, new quad-beam LED headlamps, and striking horizon LED DRLs.

Inside, the cabin receives a premium transformation with a new dual-tone finish and a futuristic curved panoramic display. This single unit combines a 12.3-inch infotainment screen and a 12.3-inch digital driver's cluster. This Hyundai compact SUV also gets advanced features like ventilated front seats, a 4-way powered driver's seat, and a Bose premium sound system.

Engine and Safety Upgrades

While pricing is only out for the 1.2-litre petrol (83PS) engine, the new Venue will continue to offer the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol (120PS) and 1.5-litre diesel (116PS) engines. A new 6-speed automatic transmission will also be offered with the diesel variant.

The biggest upgrade is in safety. The new Venue now comes equipped with Hyundai SmartSense Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems). This suite includes 16 functions like forward collision-avoidance assist, lane keeping assist, and smart cruise control. This, combined with six standard airbags, ESC, and all-disc brakes, makes it a strong contender in its segment.

The 2025 Hyundai Venue is set to reignite its rivalry with competitors like the Tata Nexon, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, and Kia Sonet.
