Bhubaneswar, August 12: FM College, Balasore, took a meaningful step towards promoting mental health awareness as the local police department conducted a special program focused on preventing self-immolation. The initiative aimed to nurture a culture of empathy and care, urging people to give priority to their mental well-being.

Under the guidance of  Dr. Satyajit Naik, DIG of the Eastern Range, the event created a safe space for open dialogue and education on mental health challenges.

Hundreds of college students engaged in discussions highlighting the importance of recognizing early signs of distress and reaching out for help.

This effort underscored the message that seeking support during tough times is a strength, not a weakness, and called for building a community that values and safeguards emotional well-being.
