Bhubaneswar, November 9: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is all set to join the 'Ekta Marathon' in Balasore district on November 13, an event marking the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the revered 'Iron Man of India.'

According to Balasore MP Pratap Chandra Sarangi, the Chief Minister will take part in the marathon, which will begin in Nilagiri and end in Mitrapur.

The marathon, which celebrates the values of national unity, integrity, and brotherhood, aims to promote a sense of pride in India's diversity. It will also highlight Sardar Patel's monumental role in uniting the nation.

In addition to the main marathon in Nilagiri, similar unity runs will be organized in Bhograi and Balasore town on the same day. Sarangi also noted that the district administration, along with local leaders and youth organizations, is working hard to ensure the event’s success and smooth execution.
