Three children survive horrific shooting by hiding in closet
In a shocking incident that has sent shockwaves through the community, a 51-year-old Indian national has been arrested in the United States for allegedly shooting his wife and three other relatives to death. The tragedy unfolded following a heated domestic dispute, leaving four adults dead while three children narrowly escaped by hiding in a closet.
Police identified the accused as Vijay Kumar, who is now in custody facing multiple serious charges, including felony murder and aggravated assault.

According to investigators, the gruesome event took place at a residence on Brook Ivy Court. While the violence occurred, three minors—including Kumar's own 12-year-old child—managed to hide inside a closet. Displaying immense presence of mind, the 12-year-old dialed 911, providing crucial details that allowed the rapid response team to reach the scene within minutes.

Police statements indicate that the conflict began as an argument between Kumar and his wife at their home in Atlanta. The couple, along with their child, then traveled to the relative's home on Brook Ivy Court, where the situation escalated tragically.
