Khordha, Feb 28: The first National Lok Adalat of the year is scheduled for March 14 across all trial courts in Khordha district, including Bhubaneswar, Khordha, Banpur, Chilika, Tangi, Jatani, and Begunia.

The Lok Adalat aims to resolve pending cases through mutual consent, covering a wide range of issues such as criminal cases, cheque bounce matters, bank loans, revenue disputes, and marital issues, among others.

This initiative offers several benefits, including no financial costs for resolving cases, final and binding judgments, and the refund of court fees for cases that are resolved. The public is encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to efficiently settle long-pending cases.

Interested individuals can file their cases and contact the Divisional Court or the nearest Legal Services Authority for more details and information on the process.
