Bhubaneswar, May 13: Governor Raghubar Das has appointed Prof. (Dr.) Manash Ranjan Sahoo as the Vice-Chancellor of Odisha University of Health Sciences (OUHS), Bhubaneswar.
Manash, who is the Head of the Department of General Surgery, AIIMS-Bhubaneswar, has been appointed to the VC post for four years.
Sahoo has done a fellowship in surgical gastroenterology from SRCMCRI, Chennai, after completing post-graduation in surgery. He has teaching experience of more than 26 years and 6 years in professor and equivalent post. He also has administrative experience as a professor and Head of the Department of General Surgery at AIIMS-Bhubaneswar and as Chairman of its Medical Board.
