Jajpur, Oct 20: In a tragic incident, a man and his wife have been reportedly crushed under a train in Odisha’s Jajpur district on Friday.
The mishap took place at Baitarani Road railway station in the evening.
The deceased have been identified as Asutosh Sinha and Laxmipriya Sinha, who hail from the Barundei area.
Sources said that the duo was crossing the train line at the Baitarani Road station. Meanwhile, an Express Train ran over them all of a sudden, following which they were killed on the spot.
Being informed the RPF took stock of the situation and initiated an investigation.
