Bhubaneswar, July 18: In a heart-wrenching incident, a man allegedly killed his nephew following a quarrel reportedly over a property dispute in Puintala locality in Odisha’s Bolangir district on Thursday.
The incident has been reported from Ainlasari village under Puintala police limits in the district.
As per reports, a heated exchange of words ensued between the deceased, identified as Sameer Bhue, and his paternal uncle, Kalia Bhue, over a prolonged land-related dispute. It later took a violent turn when Kalia, in fit of rage, attacked Sameer.
Sameer sustained grave injuries in the attack leading to his death on the spot.
Upon getting the information, police arrived at the spot and seized the body. Subsequently, it was sent for post-mortem.
Further investigation into the incident was underway.
