Boudh, Aug 9: The forest department officials on Tuesday apprehended a man and his daughter during a search operation at Kushanga Forest Division under Boudh district.
The accused poachers have been identified as Uttam Pradhan and his daughter Sabitri Majhi. The officials also seized an axe, different types of wires, poisonous balls, net and pangolin scales from their possession.
According to the information, during a search operation at Padmatola beat area, forest officials conducted a raid in a house and seized several wildlife products and weapons they used for poaching. The officials also arrested the man and his daughter for their alleged involvement in wildlife poaching.
