The viral visuals are from the Badabaliyora playground under Soyamba Panchayat in Koida block, a Maoist-affected and tribal-dominated region. Despite the challenges of living in a remote area, the women have turned sports into a source of joy and empowerment.

According to sources, the women of the area collectively save small amounts of money every year to organize sporting events among themselves. These events include football, running races, puchi, kabaddi, and other competitions, with prizes distributed within the group.
