Bhubaneswar: The Para Sports Association of Odisha (PSAO) is announced that a 10-member strong contingent of para powerlifters from the State will participate in the 23rd Senior, 18th Junior & 2nd Sub-Junior National Para Powerlifting Championship 2025–26  will be held from 16th to 18th January 2026 at COER University, Roorkee, Uttarakhand.

 

A total of 10 athletes, along with Coach, will participate in the championship, competing across various weight categories in senior, junior, and sub-junior divisions. The Para Sports Association of Odisha extends its best wishes to all athletes and officials and expresses confidence that the team will deliver an outstanding performance and bring laurels to the state.

 

 Odisha Para Powerlifting Team: Chadan Kumar Behera – Men’s Up to 97 kg, Gyana Ranjan Sahoo – Men’s Up to 72 kg, Gadadhar Sahu – Men’s Up to 65 kg, Sabitri Behera – Men’s Up to 50 kg, Sarojini Parida – Girls’ Sub-Junior Up to 55 kg, Mukesh Naik – Boys’ Junior Up to 49 kg, Shyama Marandi – Boys’ Junior Up to 59 kg, Ramdas Runguda – Men’s Up to 49 kg, Rakesh Kumar Mallick – Men’s Up to 80 kg, Kumar Panigrahi – Men’s Up to 59 kg and Bapuji Kumar Biswal – Coach.
