Bhubaneswar, March 14: While the three major parties including BJD & Congress are making frantic efforts to secure victories for their respective candidates in the forthcoming Rajya Sabha election, ruling BJP has organized a formal training session for its members.

Following a mock drill in the Odisha Assembly, most of the BJP Legislators left for Paradip for the breakthrough, organized at a hotel.

According to reports, elaborate arrangements have been made in the Mayfair Bay Resort at the Port City for the electoral training and accommodation of the BJP leaders.

As per the schedule, Chief Minister Mohan Majhi will join the team in the morning tomorrow who will brief the members on the party’s strategic move ahead of the polling.

Earlier on Saturday, a mock polling was conducted in the Odisha Legislative Assembly.

In the mock polling conducted in the afternoon, Legislators of ruling BJP and opposition BJD took part wherein they were drilled the essential procedures to opt for their deemed candidates.

The BJP Legislators, but Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari practiced on how to vote with utmost accuracy so that no votes will be rejected.

Similarly, the BJD Legislators participated in the mock drill following a crucial meeting at the Naveen Niwas.

During the democratic formalities, the Assembly Secretary guided the newcomers on the electoral process elaborating on how to vote accurately.

Worth mentioning, a mock polling for Congress was organized in the Odisha Assembly earlier, to make the Legislators, especially the 1st-timers accustomed with the polling procedures.
