Bhubaneswar, Jan 2: President of India, Droupadi Murmu, is scheduled to arrive in Odisha today on a six-day official visit. During her stay, the President will participate in several official and cultural programs across the state.

In view of the visit, security arrangements in Bhubaneswar have been significantly tightened. Traffic restrictions have been imposed on routes likely to be used by the President, as per guidelines issued by the Commissionerate Police. President Murmu will arrive in Bhubaneswar on the evening of February 2.

The President will visit five districts during her tour, including Puri, Khordha, Balasore, Jajpur, and Mayurbhanj. Her itinerary includes offering prayers at Maa Biraja Temple in Jajpur, performing pind daan rituals at Navagaya, and visiting Swetaganga in Puri, where she will also have darshan of Lord Jagannath.
