Puri, Aug 17: The Mahasuara Nijoga has prepared a rate chart of the Mahaprasad of Puri Srimandir to ensure the smooth sale of Mahaprasad to the devotees at the Ananda Bazaar of the 12th-century shrine.
As per the sources, the plate having Abhada, dali (dal), besara, mahura, Khatta and kanika will cost Rs 120 for the devotees.
Similarly, the cost of another plate with saga and Khichdi along with all other items has been fixed at Rs 150.
The plate with 11 items along with kheer, pointed gourd curry and chole of Mahaprasad will cost Rs 200.
Besides, Dasia Handi will costs Rs 200, Bada Matha Handi –Rs 1000, Dhala Matha handi –Rs 800, Sana Matha Handi-Rs 600, Chaka Eknumbari- Rs 400, Sana Handi Bhata-Rs 150, and Pakhala Oli will costs Rs 40.
It is not the final rate chart as the proposed rate chart is still subject to approval by the Srimandir Managing Committee. The decision will be taken after a disciplinary committee meeting by SJTA.
