Puri, Sept 23: The precious ornaments of Lord Jagannath, which were temporarily moved, will be returned to the Shree Jagannath Temple’s Ratna Bhandar on Tuesday. The transfer process is scheduled to be completed by 10 AM during the auspicious Mahendra Bela, according to an official statement issued by the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) on Monday.

In line with the state government-approved guidelines, all rituals and procedures related to the transfer will be strictly followed.

As part of the operation, public darshan of the deities will remain suspended from 10 AM onwards. The Natamandap and Jagamohan sections of the temple will undergo thorough inspection and cleaning during this period. Devotees will not be permitted to enter the main sanctum (Garbhagruha) and the Jhulana Mandap area until the completion of the process.

However, the temple administration confirmed that daily rituals (niti-kanti) of the deities will continue without interruption. Devotees who wish to receive Mahaprasad can collect it from the Anand Bazaar as usual.

Following the successful completion of the treasure transfer, all temporary restrictions will be lifted, and regular darshan will resume.

The SJTA has appealed to devotees to extend their full cooperation and adhere to the protocols in place, ensuring a smooth and secure return of the Ratnas to the Ratna Bhandar.
