Khallikote, Feb 16: A tragic incident occurred in Khallikote, Ganjam district, on Sunday, when a Class 10 student collapsed and died during a morning walk. The deceased, identified as Mihir Pradhan, was a student at Khallikote Aurobindo Purnanga Sikhya Kendra.

Reports indicate that Mihir had gone for a morning walk with his teacher and fellow students to Nirmaljhar. During the walk, he suddenly collapsed, prompting immediate action from those around him. He was rushed to the Khallikote Community Health Centre (CHC), where doctors declared him dead upon arrival.

The cause of death remains unknown, and authorities are yet to confirm the exact reason behind the student's sudden collapse. In the aftermath of the tragedy, Mihir’s family members gathered at the hospital, demanding an explanation for the unexpected loss of their loved one. The situation escalated into a commotion as they sought clarity on the cause of death.
