Bhubaneswar, Nov 14: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a yellow warning for six coastal Odisha districts as a low pressure was formed over the Bay of Bengal on Tuesday. As per the IMD, light to moderate rain with thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over some districts of Odisha after November 15, informed the Bhubaneswar MeT Centre.

Day 1 (Valid from 8:30am of 15.11.2023 to 8:30am of 16.11.2023)
Light to moderate rain/ thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of South Coastal Odisha, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur and at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara. Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest of the districts of Odisha.

Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Kendrapara, Bhadrak, Cuttack. Thunderstorm with lightening is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Dhenkanal and Mayurbhanj.

Day 4 (Valid from 8:30am of 18.11.2023 to 8:30am of 19.11.2023)
Light to moderate rain/ thundershower is very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of North Coastal Odisha, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Keonjhar, Bhadrak and Jajpur. Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest of the districts of Odisha.
