Nuapada: In a collaborative effort between the Sinapali Forest Department and the Chhattisgarh Forest Department, a raid was conducted on a house in Jhankarguda village, located in Odisha’s Nuapada district.
The operation, prompted by a tip-off, resulted in the rescue of a live pangolin weighing 11.2 kg. Additionally, six individuals involved in wildlife smuggling were apprehended, and authorities confiscated three motorcycles from their possession.
Following the successful operation, an investigation has been initiated by the Forest Department to uncover and apprehend other individuals involved in similar illicit activities within the region.
