Bhubaneswar, Sept 16:  Are you crazy for a favourite brew that keeps your body and mind fresh& free or to rejuvenate you while get going for a merry-time tour? Yes, it’s now at your doorsteps, to fetch a repute brand foreign of liquor, healthier and safter, that too in consolidated prices.

May it a foreign liquor of national fame or a vintage, opted by the gallants and elites, It’s readily available at a Foreign Liquor OFF shop, a few meters away from your accommodation.

All brands of liquor are now available in Chhattisgarh from September 11. As many as 303 reputed brands of Foreign Liquor, at least 69 brands of high-standard Beers and   products of  more that 70 world’s Best Beverage Companies, have their dominant presence in the state, after the favourable Liquor Policy of the state government.

 From the last five years, a lot of difficulties were faced by liquor-friendly communities here in the state of Chhattisgarh. It was because, medium and high-grade liquor was not available in the market acros the state.  In such a critical policy, liquor lovers had no choice and they had to drink low-level liquor with paying higher costs for substandard liquors.That too, trafficked from other states at 30 to 40 percent higher prices. 

Similarly, influential people used to get their favorite liquor from Nagpur and cities of Madhya Pradesh with heading risks while fetching them in lots.However, the middle and lower class people had to depend on local liquor even if they did not want to. But now the government has abolished the license system and restored the old system. Therefore, all brands of liquor will start being available from tomorrow.

After the formation of the new government in Chhattisgarh, the old liquor license system is reformed and licence was issued afresh two months earlier in July. Under this, the Beverage Corporation started the work of purchasing liquor. For this, the

Earlier, the previous government had changed the rules and implemented FL-10. Under this license system the middleman had usually the more power as he buys liquor and then supplies it.They also make a huge commission in the system. But foreign companies still dominate the liquor and people also demand liquor of foreign companies. But foreign companies do not give commission. Therefore, by giving whatever money the middlemen asked for, the local companies had established their rule in Chhattisgarh.

After the formation of the new government in Chhattisgarh, the license system was abolished in July two months ago and the old system was restored again. Under this, the Beverage Corporation had started the work of buying liquor from reputed houses.

 Dhavade said following his join in the new post, that now there will be no problem of brand and availability in Chhattisgarh. MoUs and agreement have been signed with 34 liquor companies so far. 20 lakh boxes of good brands have laready been ordered. Goods have started coming from outside. He said that between 10 and 15 September, the problem of brand and availability will end in all the shops of Chhattisgarh. All levels of foreign liquor will be available in Chhattisgarh.
