Bhubaneswar, Jan 20: As India prepares to celebrateRepublic Day on January 26, the Odisha government has released the official list of Ministers who will hoist the national flag at district-level functions across the state.

At thestate-level Republic Day celebration in Bhubaneswar,Governor Hari Babu Kambhampatiis scheduled to unfurl the Tricolour and take the ceremonial salute.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhiwill preside over the main celebrations inCuttack, hoisting the flag and leading the district’s event.

The two Deputy Chief Ministers have also been assigned key roles:

• Kanak Vardhan Singh Deowill hoist the flag inKoraput
• Pravati Paridawill do so inKhurda.

Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujariwill lead the ceremony inPuri.

Several other ministers and officials will represent the state government across various districts. These include:

• Rabi Narayan Naik(Bargarh)
• Nityananda Gond(Rayagada)
• Krushna Chandra Patra(Keonjhar)
• Mukesh Mahaling(Kandhamal)
• Bibhuti Bhusan Jena(Malkangiri)
• Krushna Chandra Mahapatra(Bhadrak)
• And others with independent charge covering districts likeKalahandi, Nayagarh, Sambalpur, Balasore, and Boudh.

In districts without designated ministers,Revenue Divisional Commissioners or Collectorswill take charge of flag-hoisting ceremonies, ensuring that Republic Day is observed with patriotic fervour throughout the state.
