Accused doctor processed lethal chemicals in rented Faridabad room

Chilling new details have emerged regarding the execution of the horrific November 10 Delhi blast that claimed the lives of 15 people. Investigations have revealed that Dr. Muzamil Shakeel, a key accused in the terror plot, utilized a simple flour mill to manufacture the volatile chemicals used in the explosion.

According to recent reports, the process took place inside a rented room in Faridabad, Haryana. This location is significant as it is the same site where law enforcement officials seized a massive cache of 360 kg of ammonium nitrate and other explosive materials just 24 hours before the tragedy occurred in the capital.

The "Kitchen" Lab

During interrogation, Shakeel reportedly confessed to his unique and dangerous method of refining explosives. Investigators discovered that he used the flour mill to grind urea, breaking it down into a much finer consistency. Once pulverized, he allegedly used an electrical device to further process the substance, eventually extracting pure ammonium nitrate and refining it into high-grade chemical components suitable for bomb-making.

Who is Dr. Muzamil Shakeel?

Hailing from Pulwama, Shakeel is a medical professional whose license was recently revoked following his arrest. His involvement in the Delhi blast appears to be extensive. Beyond manufacturing the chemical components, police believe he played a critical logistic role. He is accused of transporting the explosive materials and facilitating the handover of a white Hyundai i20 car to Umar Nabi, the identified suicide bomber.

Broader Conspiracy

This revelation follows the recent exposure of an interstate "white-collar" terror module. The network was dismantled following the significant recovery of explosives in Faridabad, shedding light on how educated professionals are being recruited for subversive activities. The investigation is ongoing as authorities continue to probe the extent of the network.
