Mumbai, Dec 11: The action thriller “Dhurandhar”, directed by Aditya Dhar, continues to dominate the box office, hitting the ₹200 crore mark worldwide in just its first week. Released on December 5, the film has captured audiences with its gripping storyline, high-octane action, and stellar performances.

The film stars Ranveer Singh, Akshay Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and R. Madhavan, and each character has resonated strongly with viewers. The film’s soundtrack has also gone viral on social media, adding to its popularity.

“Dhurandhar” opened to a strong ₹28.60 crore on its first day. The momentum continued with ₹33.10 crore on day two and ₹44.80 crore on day three. By the end of the first week, the film had earned ₹106.50 crore domestically and ₹160.15 crore worldwide. On subsequent days, it continued its strong run with ₹24.30 crore on day four, ₹28.60 crore on day five, and ₹26.50 crore on day six, pushing the total first-week collection to ₹180 crore.

This release marks Ranveer Singh’s biggest opening to date and is a major milestone for director Aditya Dhar, following the success of his debut film “Uri: The Surgical Strike”. With its blockbuster numbers, “Dhurandhar” has firmly established itself as one of the year’s biggest hits.
