Pune, February 4: Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) President Sharad Pawar held two distinct meetings with the sons of the late Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister, Ajit Pawar — Parth and Jay — in Baramati on Wednesday.

One of the meetings was a private affair, attended solely by close family members, while the other included trustees of Vidya Pratishthan, an organization founded by Sharad Pawar, who also serves as its president.

Details regarding the agenda of the family-only meeting remain undisclosed. However, sources suggest that the discussions may have focused on the potential unification of the two NCP factions and the upcoming Zila Parishad elections.
