New Delhi, November 20: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Thursday took custody of three doctors and a preacher in connection with the deadly car blast near the Red Fort on November 10, which claimed the lives of 15 people.

The individuals—Muzammil Ganaie, Adeel Rather, Shaheena Saeed, and Maulvi Irfan Ahmed Wagay—were initially arrested by Jammu and Kashmir police. Acting on production orders from the Patiala House Court, the NIA took them into custody in Srinagar.

NIA spokesperson stated that these suspects had played a significant role in the terror attack, which resulted in several fatalities and numerous injuries, according to the agency’s ongoing investigations.
