Bhubaneswar, June 7: Additional District Judge Khordha on Friday granted 3-day interim bail to MLA-elect Prasanta Jagadev who was arrested for allegedly toppling an EVM and manhandling two polling personnel in a booth during voting on May 25.
Hearing the pleas of Jagadev, the court granted him bail for three days from June 9 to June 12, to attend the tenth-day ritual of a near & dear.
The Counsel who is pleading for the MLA said, Jagadev was granted bail to join the swearing-in ceremony of the new Chief Minister.
