New Delhi, November 4: Gopichand P. Hinduja, chairman of the multinational conglomerate Hinduja Group, has passed away in London at the age of 85, according to sources close to his family.

Affectionately known as 'GP' in business circles, Gopichand had been facing health challenges in recent weeks. He passed away in a London hospital, the sources confirmed.

A pivotal figure in the Hinduja Group, Gopichand was part of its second generation of leadership. He took on the role of chairman following the death of his elder brother, Srichand Hinduja, in May 2023. Under his leadership, the Hinduja Group continued to uphold its legacy as one of the world’s most influential family-owned business empires.
