Khandagiri flyover to be functional from next week

Bhubaneswar, May 2: The Khandagiri flyover bridge will be functional from the next week onwards, informed, Ram Prasad Panda, General Manager of Bhubaneswar division of NHAI. The construction work of the bridge has been completed and it is expected that from next week onwards the vehicles can start plying on the bridge. The Khandagiri Square witnessed many accidents and long traffic jams due to commencement of heavy vehicles on the road. This flyover will reduce the traffic and avoid accidents as the heavy vehicle will not have to go through the city anymore. Notably, the construction work of the bridge was started on 2019 and somewhat got delayed due to the outbreak of the pandemic. The work has been completed now and the vehicles are going to use it from next week
