Bhubaneswar, December 15:  Director General of Police (DGP) Yogesh Bahadur Khurania on Monday inaugurated the newly developed Odisha Police website, aimed at improving public service delivery, transparency, and citizen engagement. The website, accessible in both Odia and English, was unveiled at a special ceremony at the State Police Headquarters.

The platform, designed with modern digital tools, offers a user-friendly interface to provide easy access to a range of police services and information. DGP Khurania emphasized that the website would strengthen communication between the police and the public, making it easier for citizens to access police-related updates via computers, laptops, and mobile devices.

Key features include online citizen services, police notices, recruitment updates, traffic safety awareness, crime prevention tips, legal provisions, and other important public information. The bilingual website is expected to enhance accessibility and promote transparency in policing across Odisha.

The inauguration was attended by senior police officials, including the Director of the State Forensic Science Laboratory, Santosh Bala, and other key officers, with district SPs and senior battalion members joining virtually.
