Mumbai, Aug 9: Bollywood celebrities Kareena Kapoor Khan, Twinkle Khanna, Rakul Preet Singh, and Ayushmann Khurrana extended their congratulations to Neeraj Chopra for winning a silver medal in the men’s javelin throw final at the Paris Olympics.

Kareena shared a picture of Neeraj on Instagram Stories, calling him a "Champion" with rainbow and star emojis. Twinkle posted an article from her digital media company Tweak India, recently acquired by the Good Glamm Group, with the headline: “Neeraj Chopra brings home India’s first silver at Olympic 2024.” Rakul Preet exclaimed, “Woohoo! Neeraj, you’ve done it again! Congratulations on securing your second Olympic medal! India beams with pride!” Ayushmann shared a photo of Neeraj with the Indian flag, praising him as “India’s shining star… shabaash Neeraj.” Nimrat Kaur added, “Champion. Legend. The pride of India!!”

Neeraj Chopra threw the javelin 89.45 meters in the final. Pakistan’s Arshad Nadeem set a new Olympic Record with a 92.97-meter throw to win the gold medal.
