Kalki Koechlin to fight as a lawyer in Tamil film 'Nesippaya'

Mumbai, July 1: Actress Kalki Koechlin, who recently appeared in the streaming movie 'Kho Gaye Hum Kahan', is gearing up for her role in the upcoming Tamil film 'Nesippaya'. In this film, she portrays Indira, a lawyer based in Portugal, playing a pivotal part in the storyline. While she previously had a cameo in 'Nerkonda Paarvai' alongside Ajith Kumar, 'Nesippaya' marks her first full-fledged role in Tamil cinema.
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Vishnuvardhan, known for his compelling storytelling, 'Nesippaya' is a romantic drama promising to showcase Kalki's versatility in yet another intriguing role. The film also stars Akash Murali in his debut lead role and features Aditi Shankar as the female lead.
In addition to 'Nesippaya', Kalki is simultaneously involved in her international project 'Her Story', currently filming in Antichan-des-Frotignes in the Pyrenees.
