Bhawanipatna, Oct 13: Bringing pride and recognition to Kalahandi, Mamata Panda has secured fourth place at the national-level Mrs India competition, showcasing her talent, confidence and versatility. A writer, poet and politician, Panda’s achievement has brought laurels to the district.

The prestigious competition, organised by Pride of India, was held at Vivanta Taj in New Delhi from the 2nd to the 4th. A total of 86 contestants participated in the G2 category, which was open to women aged between 35 and 50.

Throughout the competition, Panda impressed the judges with her confidence, abilities and performance across various rounds, ultimately securing fourth place at the national level.

Adding another feather to her cap, she was also honoured with the ‘Woman of the Substance’ title in recognition of her personality and innate talents.

Apart from her achievements in the literary field as a writer and poet, Panda is also actively involved in politics. Her success at the national-level platform has brought immense pride to Kalahandi, inspiring women to pursue their ambitions with confidence and determination.
