Mumbai, Jan 15: The trailer for Rani Mukerji’s much-anticipated action-packed film Mardaani 3 has sparked excitement not only among fans but also within the film industry. Recently, actress Sonam Kapoor took to social media to express her admiration for Rani Mukerji, calling her “one of the greatest ever” in Indian cinema.
In her heartfelt post, Sonam wrote, “Rani, you are one of the greatest ever in Indian cinema. You are a G.O.A.T for me, and I don’t know how many actors and girls across our country feel the same way.” She went on to wish Rani all the best for Mardaani 3, praising her passion and drive. “Your hunger and your passion are truly incredible. It feels amazing to have seen you work so closely and spread so much joy. You are going to kill it with Mardaani 3! Rooting for you always!” Sonam concluded with a red heart emoji, sending her love and support.
Meanwhile, Rani Mukerji has been on a promotional tour for Mardaani 3, marking the occasion of Makar Sankranti by flying kites in Gujarat. In a special address to the people of Ahmedabad, she expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming love and support the film has received. “I’m so happy to be in Gujarat, to be in Ahmedabad on the occasion of Makar Sankranti. It is such an auspicious date, and I am thrilled to see the love for Mardaani here. Thank you so much for giving my film this kind of love. It is really precious,” Rani shared with excitement.
“Mardaani 3”, written by Aayush Gupta of The Railway Men fame, is directed by Abhiraj Minawala. Rani Mukerji returns to the role of Shivani Shivaji Roy, her beloved character, in this latest installment of the action franchise. Produced by Aditya Chopra under the banner of Yash Raj Films, the film promises to delve deeper into another dark and brutal aspect of society. Following the success of its predecessors, which tackled the issues of human trafficking and serial rapists, Mardaani 3 is expected to explore yet another pressing societal issue.
