State-run telecom giant offers big savings on mobile and fiber plans
State-owned telecom operator BSNL is making waves in the Indian market by introducing a powerful new mobile plan and making its high-speed fiber internet more affordable. These updates are designed for users who want to avoid the hassle of frequent recharges and reduce their monthly household expenses.
Everything about the Bharat Connect Mobile Plan
BSNL’s newest offering, the Bharat Connect plan, is a game-changer for prepaid users. Priced at Rs 2,626, this plan provides a full 365 days of validity. Users get a generous 2.6GB of high-speed data every single day, making it ideal for streaming and working from home. Along with heavy data, the plan includes 100 daily SMS and unlimited voice calls across all networks in India.
However, this is a limited-time offer. The plan became available on January 24 and will remain open for recharge only until February 24. Customers can easily activate this through the BSNL Recharge Express (BReX) chatbot.
Major Price Drop for Superstar Premium Broadband
Fiber internet users also have a reason to celebrate. The popular Superstar Premium broadband plan has seen a significant price cut. Previously priced at Rs 999, the monthly cost is now just Rs 799. This plan offers blazing speeds of up to 200Mbps with a massive monthly data limit of 5,000GB.
To make the deal even sweeter, BSNL is giving a 20% discount to customers who pay for 12 months in advance. This move effectively brings down the monthly cost even further. This revised pricing is available until March 31, 2026.
Added Entertainment Benefits
The Superstar Premium plan isn't just about speed; it also packs a punch with entertainment. Subscriptions to major OTT platforms like Sony LIV, JioHotstar, Lionsgate, and Zee5 are bundled with the service. Current subscribers looking to upgrade can do so easily through BSNL’s official WhatsApp support channel.
