Bhubaneswar, April 12 : BJP's National President J.P. Nadda, addressing a three-day training workshop for party MLAs and MPs in Puri, urged Odisha leaders to reconnect with the grassroots.
Stressing the importance of humility, he asked leaders to shed ego, avoid groupism, and build individual credibility through fieldwork.
Nadda advised elected representatives to visit villages, experience public issues firsthand and monitor the implementation of schemes. He also emphasized regular engagement with Dalit families and coordination with officials for effective governance.
The training, which began Friday evening and ends April 13, focuses on organizational skills, governance, and communicating the BJP's achievements.
Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi, Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan, Ashwini Vaishnaw, and Jual Oram, along with state BJP chief Manmohan Samal, were among the key attendees.
During his visit, Nadda also launched the Ayushman Bharat scheme in Odisha, fulfilling a key BJP poll promise.
