Bhubaneswar, Sept 15: Odisha Police is all set to roll out a mega recruitment drive from this September 23, for as many as 1537 cop posts and ministerial staff.
The Odisha Police posted an advertisement in this connection on Saturday to fill up vacancies of Constables, Sepoys and Junior Clerks for the state forces.
Through this recruitment drive, 177 Junior Clerks in DPO cadre posts will be filled up through the Odisha Police Ministerial Staff Selection Board and 1360 sepoys/constables through the State Selection Board, Odisha Police.
The recruitment for Clerks is in the District Police Office (DPO) cadre and constables in the OSAP/SIR/IR/SS Battalions in Odisha, the advertisement read.
A detailed advertisement for both job openings will be available on the Odisha Police website www.odishapolice.gov.in from September 23 (10:00 AM).
Interested candidates can get all the details including educational qualification, eligibility, selection process, category-wise vacancies, syllabus of examination, and others once it is uploaded on the official website.
Eligible ones can apply online as no manual applications will be entertained, the advertisement noted. The aspirants have been advised to visit official website of Odisha Police for latest updates.
