Bhubaneswar, February 4: Police in Odisha’s Bolangir district have arrested six boys in connection with the alleged sexual assault of a 15-year-old girl. Local Police stated on Wednesday that a video of the incident was later circulated on social media, bringing the case to wider attention.

According to police officials, the assault occurred on December 27 in the Tureikela police station area. The victim, a Class 9 student, was reportedly attacked while returning home from her coaching classes.

The matter came to light after the video of the crime went viral on several social media platforms, prompting swift police action and subsequent arrests.
